Thank you for your interest in the Rotary Communities Nominee (RCN) role.

The RCN will represent Rotary Community Leaders (RCLs) on the Rotary South Pacific Regional Council.

The Regional Council is seeking to fill the casual vacancy on the Board through an expression of interest process.

Only candidates who are deemed to meet the eligibility and selection criteria based on the information provided in this form will progress to the next stage of the selection process.

Please submit this form and if applicable, ensure it has been endorsed by all relevant parties, so your expression of interest can be considered.

Required reading

Before submitting your expression of interest please ensure you have read and understood the position description and selection criteria for the RCN role. Please note that the position description may be revised in the near future.

Completing this form

You will be required to submit the following:

• Your name, contact details and Rotary data
• A copy of your curriculum vitae (CV) in .pdf or .docx format, no longer than two A4 pages
• A statement no longer than 200 words explaining how you meet the selection criteria of the RCN role
• A promotional statement no longer than 150 words

Please note this form cannot be saved and returned to later for completion.

We recommend typing and saving your written responses in a Word document, and pasting them into the form when you are ready to submit.

Additional instructions for candidates who are not RCLs

Once submitted, your expression of interest must be endorsed by three people:

• A serving club officer from your current Rotary or Rotaract club
• Two serving RCLs

After you submit this form, your selected club officer and RCLs will each receive an email containing a link they can use to endorse that you:

• Are a club member of good standing
• Have the requisite Rotary experience for the RCN role
• Generally meet the position description and selection criteria for the RCN role

Please ensure you have notified your endorsers beforehand so they can look out for the email and check their junk or spam folders just in case. You will be notified via email when each of your endorsers completes the endorsement form.

If you are a current RCL, you will not be required to complete the certification process outlined above.
