Application form for non-elected Zone 8 Regional Council positions

Thank you for your interest in applying for a position on the Zone 8 Regional Council.
These are the three volunteer roles you can apply for through this form:
You can apply for more than one role, but can only be appointed to one.
Completing this form
In this application you will be required to submit:
- Your name, contact details and Rotary/Rotaract club membership information
- A written response addressing the selection criteria in no more than 1000 words (you will need to submit a separate response for each role you are applying for)
- A 200 word biographical statement to be published on the Creating Tomorrow website (you will need to submit a separate statement for each role you are applying for)
- Your Curriculum Vitae (CV), no longer than two pages (only submit one, regardless of how many roles you are applying for).
- The name and contact details of two referees. These people must be current Rotarians or Rotaractors who can verify you are a Rotary/Rotaract member of good standing.
If applying for the Corporate and Administration or Treasurer role, please ensure you address the requirements laid out in the relevant position description in your application.
If applying for the Portfolio Lead: DEI position, ensure you address the selection criteria in your application.

Selection Process
A separate selection panel will be formed for each of the Regional Council roles featured in this application form.
These selection panels will review all applications received for the relevant Regional Council role, and determine which applicants progress to the next stage of the application process.
If you reach the next stage of the application process, you will be contacted via email to arrange an online interview with all members of the relevant selection panel.
If your application is unsuccessful and you do not reach the next stage, you will also be informed via email.
Once all interviews have been conducted, each selection panel will recommend a candidate to the Regional Council.
The preferred candidate for the Portfolio Lead: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion role will be recommended to Rotary International for confirmation and appointment as a Director on the Regional Council.
The Treasurer and Corporate and Administration Lead positions will be confirmed and appointed by the Regional Council.
If you are appointed to the Regional Council, the following will be published on the
Creating Tomorrow website:
- Your name
- Your photo
- The Regional Council role you have been appointed to
- The 200 word statement you submit in this application form
